About Me!
Hello! My name is Alexandra and I am a registered dietitian with a bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics from Long Island University Post. At LIU Post, I also completed a dietetic internship which consisted of completing 1200+ hours of supervised practice within a variety of settings. During this internship I completed a clinical rotation at the Northport Veteran's Hospital on Long Island, NY, a counseling rotation at LIU Post which involved holding individual counseling sessions, workshops and presentations for students and student athletes, a long term care and renal rotation, a rotation in food service, and an elective rotation at Cohen Children's Medical Center Eating Disorder Day Program. Currently, I am working as a registered dietitian at an eating disorder facility for adolescents.

My goal as a registered dietitian is to help others develop a healthy relationship with food! I am extremely passionate about providing support for those who are battling eating disorders or disordered eating, as well as helping athletes fuel properly for performance. Eating disorders are extremely prevalent within society, especially in athletes. As someone who was a competitive athlete, I have seen first hand the impact this can have on performance and how important fueling properly for performance is! I would love to provide nutrition education and support to those in need of it!
